Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has called upon media to abstain from publishing and airing fake news originating from unauthentic sources.
\nTalking to newsmen at the Parliament House in Islamabad, she said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is spreading fake news about the government’s ongoing negotiations with the IMF, which harm the national interests.
\nThe Information Minister said spreading fake news is in nobody\u2019s interest.
\nShe said the government is trying to renegotiate the agreement, signed by the PTI regime with the IMF, to provide maximum relief to the masses.
