Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan says the federal government is seriously concerned over the worsening law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
\nIn a statement, he criticised Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for not learning a lesson from the terrorist attack on Counter Terrorism Department Centre in Bannu last month, where law enforcers were held hostage by militants.
\nThe Interior Minister said if Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police is not safe from terrorist attacks, then what will be the state of people\u2019s protection?\u201d
\nMeanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on police station Sarband in Peshawar and expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of a Deputy Superintendent of police and two other personnel in the attack.
\nIn his message of condolence, the Prime Minister said sympathies of the nation are with the families of the martyrs.
\nHe said the sacrifices of police and law enforcement agencies are unforgettable.
\nThe Prime Minister said the condemnable conspiracies of terrorists to weaken morale of the nation would not succeed.
