The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday dismissed a petition seeking the disqualification of PPP leader and sister of ex-president Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur.
\nIt is to be noted here that the petition for the disqualification of Faryal Talpur had been submitted to the ECP by two members of the Sindh Assembly.
\nPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPAs including Arsalan Taj and Rabia Azfar were the petitioners.
\nPTI\u2019s Arsalan Taj and Rabia Zafar had filed a petition in the ECP seeking Talpur\u2019s disqualification against allegedly concealing assets.
\nThe commission announced its verdict today which was reserved on October 27.
