Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar represented Pakistan at the Global Law, Justice and Development Forum 2026 in Washington. The forum, hosted at the World Bank Group headquarters, brought together more than forty ministers and senior legal leaders from across the world. The federal minister also participated in a ministerial roundtable on legal reforms required to promote private investment. Azam Nazeer Tarar highlighted Pakistan\u2019s initiatives, including the Ease of Doing Business legislation, the One-Window Business Portal and the One-Stop Shop for investors. He said work is underway on special commercial courts, an arbitration mechanism and a new Arbitration Act to ensure the speedy resolution of commercial disputes.
