Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev has reaffirmed Moscow\u2019s commitment to constructive cooperation with Pakistan as Islamabad prepares to assume the chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Ambassador Khorev made the remarks during a meeting of SCO member-state ambassadors hosted by Pakistan\u2019s National Coordinator for the SCO, Dr. Muhammad Faisal, on August 19. The meeting discussed organizational matters related to Pakistan\u2019s upcoming SCO Chairmanship. The Russian envoy said the SCO remains among the key priorities of Russia\u2019s foreign policy. He stressed the importance of advancing concrete initiatives in areas including finance, investment, technology, industrial cooperation, the digital economy, transportation and energy.
