This came at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi, on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem in Amman. On this occasion, the two leaders welcomed the growing momentum in Pakistan-Jordan bilateral relations and reaffirmed to further enhancing cooperation across political, defence, economic, educational, cultural and people-to-people domains. They exchanged views on regional developments, particularly the deteriorating situation in the Occupied West Bank. They also discussed the regional situation, including recent developments relating to Iran and the United States and underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy for de-escalation.
