President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday assured the MQM-P that the government would take the party along in managing the affairs of the country. According to an inside story of a meeting of the president with MQM-P Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui at the President\u2019s House, the latter complained to the former that despite the fact that MQM-P was Karachi\u2019s largest party, it was not taken into confidence on development projects of the port city. The president directed that the party\u2019s concerns be addressed. Sources told the 24News TV channel that it was agreed at the meeting that the MQM-P ministers would soon meet PPP leaders so that the concerns of the former could be addressed. Sources informed that from PPP, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani would hold a meeting with the MQM-P lawmakers. Siddiqui, on the occasion, expressed his reservations over Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab. However, President Zardari expressed his confidence in the mayor and praised his performance as well as that of Sindh chief minister.
