A panel of doctors is scheduled to examine former prime minister Imran Khan at Adiala Jail today (Saturday) amid growing concerns over his reported eye condition, sources said. A report regarding Imran Khan\u2019s jail conditions was recently submitted by PTI lawyer Salman Safdar, who was appointed amicus curiae (friend of the court). According to the report, Imran Khan has complained of a serious issue with his right eye and claimed that he has lost 85 per cent of his vision in it. Sources further said that senior government officials have informed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan about the doctors\u2019 visit. According to officials, the medical panel will examine the PTI founder later today, and the party leadership has been formally notified about the planned medical assessment. Protest inside Parliament House Meanwhile, PTI parliamentarians staged a late-night protest inside Parliament House on Friday over concerns about Imran Khan\u2019s health. Leaders of the Tehreek Tahaffuz Aain-e-Pakistan (TTAP) also participated in the demonstration. PTI leaders maintained that their sit-in would continue until the party founder is shifted to a hospital for treatment. Authorities closed the main entrances to Parliament House, while a heavy police contingent was deployed around the premises to maintain security. Protesting PTI lawmakers decided to spend the night outside the mosque located within the Parliament House complex. A strong police presence was also reported outside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad. Authorities have sealed all entry and exit points to Islamabad\u2019s Red Zone, except for Margalla Road.
