Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to arrive in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday (today) at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, accompanied by senior members of his Cabinet. During the trip, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral talks with the Crown Prince to review the full spectrum of Pakistan\u2013Saudi Arabia relations. The discussions will also cover regional and international issues of common concern. The visit is likely to pave the way for enhanced cooperation across multiple sectors, underscoring the shared resolve of both nations to further strengthen their longstanding fraternal ties. Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said in a statement that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy deep-rooted ties, built on common faith, values, and mutual trust. He added that the Prime Minister\u2019s visit will serve as a vital opportunity for both leaders to consolidate this unique partnership while exploring fresh avenues of collaboration for the benefit of their peoples. Earlier this week, PM Shehbaz attended the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Qatar, where he also held a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the sidelines. The Summit was held following the Israeli attack on Doha targeting Hamas negotiators. Hamas said six people were killed in an Israeli strike on the group’s compound in Doha on Tuesday, including its top negotiator’s son and a Qatari security officer. Officials described the talks as warm and cordial. The two leaders discussed the regional situation following Israel\u2019s aggression. \u201cThis was a deliberate attempt by Israel to derail Middle East peace efforts,\u201d Sharif said, condemning the attack.
