Ganguly revealed that he switched to watch the Manchester derby just 15 overs into Sunday\u2019s high-profile India-Pakistan match. \u201cAt this point, I don\u2019t find the Pakistan team worth watching because their standards have dropped significantly,\u201d the 53-year-old said. \u201cPakistan are no longer a competitive side. He also reflected on Pakistan\u2019s golden era, when legends like Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Javed Miandad graced the field. \u201cThere is no real competition between India and Pakistan anymore,\u201d Ganguly said during the public interaction in Kolkata. \u201cI always remember Pakistan as the team of Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram, Saeed Anwar, and Javed Miandad. But the modern-day team is completely different\u2014it\u2019s like chalk and cheese.\u201d According to him, Pakistan are no match for India. \u201cIt\u2019s the lack of quality in the side. This (Indian) team has played without (Virat) Kohli and Rohit (Sharma), who were the two stalwarts of Indian cricket for such a long period of time.
