Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Iran\u2019s President Masoud Pezeshkian on Monday, where the two leaders reviewed bilateral cooperation across various sectors and expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of Pakistan-Iran relations. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Council of Heads of Member States (CHM) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tianjin. During the discussion, the prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s strong commitment to its historic and brotherly ties with Iran, highlighting the deep-rooted relationship built on shared history, cultural heritage, and faith. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and federal ministers also attended the meeting. Referring to the Iranian president\u2019s recent visit to Pakistan last month, Prime Minister Shehbaz noted that the visit had significantly strengthened relations between the two countries.
