As per the Chinese foreign ministry, FM Wang Yi said that Pakistan’s military leadership has consistently played a crucial role in strengthening bilateral ties. \u201cThe Pakistani Army has always strongly supported the implementation of key consensuses reached between the leaderships of both countries,\u201d the Chinese foreign ministry quoted Wang Yi as saying. Touching on broader strategic concerns, the Chinese FM emphasised the importance of the partnership amid shifting global dynamics: \u201cIn the face of growing global uncertainties, promoting strong Pakistan\u2013China relations is highly beneficial for regional peace and stability.\u201d He reiterated that China continues to prioritise its ties with Pakistan. \u201cChina has always given top priority to Pakistan in its neighbourhood diplomacy,\u201d the statement added. \u201cDespite tough times, Pakistan\u2013China relations have grown even stronger,\u201d he noted, highlighting the durability of the bilateral relationship. \u201cChina will continue to fully support Pakistan in safeguarding its regional integrity and national security,\u201d Wang Yi said, welcoming Islamabad\u2019s increasing presence in global affairs. According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Field Marshal Asim Munir described China as Pakistan\u2019s \u201ciron brother,\u201d and said both countries have always shared each other\u2019s joys and sorrows. He called the bilateral strategic partnership \u201cas solid as a rock,\u201d and stated that maintaining close ties with China is the unanimous stance of the entire Pakistani nation.
