President Asif Ali Zardari visited the residence of Shaheed Major Rizwan Tahir to express solidarity with the bereaved family following the officer\u2019s martyrdom in a recent counter-terrorism operation in Noshki, Balochistan. Major Rizwan Tahir embraced martyrdom when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off during the mission. President Zardari paid homage to the officer\u2019s courage and sacrifice, extending his heartfelt condolences to the family. \u201cMajor Rizwan Tahir was a valiant officer who laid down his life for the motherland. His martyrdom stands as a shining example of duty and patriotism,\u201d the president said.
