The Pakistani rupee on Friday gained 3 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank market.
\nAccording to forex dealers, the local currency closed at Rs221.92 per dollar on Friday, up Rs 0.03 from Thursday\u2019s close of Rs221.95.
\nThe dollar is being sold between Rs226 to 228 in the open market, the forex dealers said.
