Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry says the Pakistan Army has delivered its promises made to the nation. Addressing a press conference alongside Director General Public Relations (DGPR) of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed and Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz, following the ceasefire with India after days of military engagement, he says: \u201cToday we shall apprise you of the conduct and conclusion of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, the dastardly attacks that began on the night of May 6 and 7 2025, resulting in the loss of innocent civilian lives including women, children and elderly.\u201d \u201cPakistan had vowed justice and retribution for the reprehensible Indian military aggression and brutal killing of our civilians.\u201d DG ISPR Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, in a press conference, paid tribute to those who were martyred in Indian aggression and their families, while praying for the speedy recovery of the wounded. \u201cWe extend our heartfelt gratitude to every officer, soldier, airman and soldier of the Armed Forces of Pakistan who made this success on the battlefield possible through their courage, professionalism and sacrifice. \u201cThe armed forces of Pakistan express their profound appreciation and gratitude to the brave Pakistani nation, whose moral strength, resolve and above all wholehearted support and prayers remained unwaveringly with us during these testing times, which became a force multiplier for the Armed Forces of Pakistan,\u201d he said. The military spokesperson particularly thanked the youth of Pakistan \u2014 \u201cwho became the frontline soldiers as information and cyber warriors of the country\u201d \u2014 and the media that stood as a \u201csteel wall\u201d against the Indian media. He also appreciated politicians for their support to the army during these times and lauded the premier for taking \u201cdestiny-changing decisions\u201d during this testing time. DG ISPR has said the army engaged 26 military targets and facilities that were used to target Pakistani citizens and enterprises responsible for \u201cfermenting terrorism\u201d in Indian-occupied Kashmir and mainland India. \u201cThe targets included airforce and aviation bases at Suratgarh, Sirsa, Adampur, Bhooj, Nalia, Bhathinda, Barnala, Harwara, Avantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Mamoon, Ambala, Udampur and Pathankot \u2014 all of which sustained major damages.\u201d He added that Barhmos facilities, which had fired missiles in Pakistan and killed innocent civilians, were also destroyed. In a press conference after India-Pakistan ceasefire, DG ISPR said Pakistan\u2019s response was a \u201ctextbook demonstration\u201d of integrated tri-services, enabled by real-time situational awareness, network-centric warfare capabilities and seamless multidomain operations. \u201cThis synergy across air, land, sea and cyber domains allowed for precision engagements, overwhelming lethality and rapid tempo,\u201d he said. \u201cUsing precision-guided long range Fatah missiles F1 and 2 of the Pakistan Army, precision munitions of PAF, highly capable long range loitering killer munitions and precision long range artillery.\u201d \u201cMilitary command headquarters, which helped plan the operation killing of innocent citizens, including 10th and 80th Brigade at KG Top and Nowshera were destroyed,\u201d DG ISPR said in a press conference. \u201cMilitary logistics and support sites which helped sustain this unlawful operation against Pakistani civilians, like field supply depot Uri and radar station in Ponch were also targeted.\u201d \u201cAcross the LoC, military elements including headquarters, logistic bases, artillery positions and posts that had caused civilian casualties in AJK through unprovoked artillery were relentlessly targetted and heavily damaged until they raised white flags and asked for restraint.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
