Finance minister meets IMF Deputy MD Antoinette Sayeh; US Treasury Counsellor David Lipton in Washington.
\nFinance Minister Ishaq Dar assured the International Monetary Fund (IMF) of the Pakistan government\u2019s commitment to the implementation of the fund\u2019s programme, the Finance Ministry said on Thursday.
\nThe ministry said in a tweet that Dar held \u201ca productive meeting\u201d IMF Deputy Managing Director Antoinette Sayeh and thanked the IMF for \u201can excellent support provided to Pakistan for macroeconomic stabilisation\u201d.
\nThe finance minister also held a meeting with Counsellor to US Secretary Treasury David Lipton in Washington. Pakistan\u2019s Ambassador to US Masood Khan was also present on the occasion.
