Pakistan carried out a successful test of the Ababeel Weapon System on Wednesday to re-validate the weapon. \u201cThe missile system is aimed at strengthening deterrence and enhancing strategic stability in the region through the operationalization of Full Spectrum Deterrence in the overall construct of Credible Minimum Deterrence,\u201d a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations said. The ISPR added that the test was done to re-validate \u2018various design, technical parameters and performance evaluation\u2019 of the weapon\u2019s sub-systems.
