Taking notice of the procurement of cotton at less than the prescribed rate by the government, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has given clear instructions to procure cotton on the rate fixed by the government to save the farmer from losses. He said having a bumper cotton crop is a good thing but its dividends should be reached to farmers. He directed the Trading Corporation of Pakistan to take notice and submit a report in this regard.
