Pakistan condemns 'cowardly' terror assault on Kabul hospital: Nafees Zakaria

Pakistan has condemned the Wednesday’s terrorist assault on a hospital in Kabul which killed over 35 individuals as a “cowardly act”.
“We pray for the victims and specific our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved households,” International Workplace spokesman Nafees Zakaria mentioned at a weekly briefing on Thursday.
Gunmen dressed as medics stormed the 400-bed Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan hospital within the Afghan capital on Wednesday and battled safety forces for hours, killing greater than 38 individuals and wounding dozens in an assault claimed by the militant Daesh group.
‘Unprovoked’ LoC firing
The FO spokesperson condemned the situations of ‘unprovoked’ firing by Indian troops throughout the Line of Management (LoC) and decried the focusing on of civilian populations.
Pakistani authorities have recorded their protest by repeatedly elevating the problem of ceasefire violations with Indian officers, the FO spokesman added.
“By means of such steps, Indian desires to divert the world’s consideration from its atrocities in opposition to [India-held] Kashmir civilians.”
India has violated the ceasefire a complete of 1,400 instances since 2013, Zakaria mentioned. “India violated the ceasefire 400 instances in 2016 alone.”
