Oscars paid tribute to Om Puri, Nawazuddin asks why Bollywood by no means did

Siddiqui in a tweet talked about: “@TheAcademy #Oscars paid homage 2 late #OmPuri, However in #bollywood award features no person converse single phrase for his contribution… SHAME.”

The Oscar’s ‘In Memoriam’ phase paid tribute to all of the celebrities who handed away lately; Carrie Fisher, Anton Yelchin, Prince, Gene Wilder, Curtis Hanson, Michael Cimino, Patty Duke, Garry Marshall, Mary Tyler Moore, and John Harm.

Om Puri’s household spoke to Indian Categorical and mentioned: “The one Indian actor to have labored constantly in Hollywood and British cinema for the final 25 years, and not using a fuss and letting his work communicate for itself, at this time the Academy of Movement Photos acknowledged his contribution at its 89th Awards.

The primary and solely Indian actor to be acknowledged thus. Thanks Academy. Thanks everybody. We miss you Om. We miss you heaps.”
