JOHANNESBURG: A 15-year-old was in a severe situation on Monday after he was attacked in his tent by a hyena at South Africa’s world well-known Kruger Nationwide Park, officers stated.
The boy was sleeping alone in a separate compartment of his household’s tent when the hyena set on him early Sunday, South African Nationwide Parks (SANParks) spokesman William Mabasa advised AFP.
“The animal attacked him on his face,” Mabasa stated “He screamed and his mother and father awoke.
“Thankfully a nurse was there, in addition to one among our guides.”
Based on native information web site Netwerk24, the hyena locked its jaws onto the boy’s face, breaking facial bones and dragging him out of the tent in his pyjamas.
