Nation celebrates second day of Eid-ul-Azha

The nation is celebrating the second day of Eid-ul-Azha on Tuesday (today) with great religious zeal and fervor to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).
The people who could not sacrifice their animals yesterday (the first day) due to the engagement of butchers or some other reasons, are slaughtering cows, goats, and camels today.
People are distributing sacrificial animal meat among the poor and relatives and also enjoying BBQs. The families and children have planned picnic and parties with relatives and friends.
On Monday, the first day of Eid-ul-Azha dawned with special prayers in mosques for the well-being of the Ummah and progress prosperity and security of the country. Imams have also made special prayers for Kashmiri people.
Eid congregations were held at mosques, Eidgahs and open places in all cities, towns and villages across the country.
Ulema and khateebs from different schools of thought delivered special sermons and lectures to highlight the significance of the day.
