Key Haqqani network commander killed in US drone strike in Afghanistan
A senior chief of the lethal Haqqani community was killed in a United States drone strike in Afghanistan’s Paktika province, studies within the Afghan media mentioned on Thursday.

The chief killed within the drone strike was Sirajuddin Khademi, a logistics commander of the Haqqani community and member of the Quetta Shura within the southeastern Paktika province, the studies mentioned.

Assadullah Sherzad, a police commander within the southeast area informed Afghan media that the drone strike focused Khademi together with one other individual early within the morning.
