Iraqi forces inching nearer to Fallujah after liberating Sajar

Iraqi military troops along with members of pro-government Standard Mobilization Items and tribal fighters have managed to recapture a city within the western province of Anbar from the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group.

On Thursday, Iraqi authorities forces and their allies purged Daesh militants of the city of Sajar, which lies northeast of the militant-held strategic metropolis of Fallujah, following days of fierce gun battle with the extremists within the space.

The event got here two days after Iraqi military troopers backed by fighters from the Standard Mobilization Items captured the primary police station in Sajar, and raised the nationwide Iraqi flag over it.
