FM Qureshi expresses 'deep disappointment' over devastating Notre-Dame fireplace

Overseas Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday expressed deep disappointment over the hearth that devastated Paris’s historic Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Overseas Workplace spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal tweeted, “FM has expressed deep disappointment about devastating fireplace on the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. For hundreds of years, it has been a revered place of worship for Catholics around the globe.”

A fireplace that unfold from the attic of Notre-Dame cathedral on Monday has induced its spire to crash to the bottom, and devastated Paris´s historic monument.
