An earthquake having magnitude of 4.zero on the Richter scale jolted Quetta and adjoining areas on Tuesday.
The centre of the quake was reported to be 72km south of the provincial capital.
In keeping with the seismological centre, the depth of the earthquake was recorded to be round 10km.
