CM Shehbaz Sharif for 'full ban' on Basant

Chief Minister of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif has said on Tuesday that the provincial authorities has imposed full ban on Basant pageant.
In a message posted on social media web site, the Chief Minister said that none can be allowed to play with the lives of individuals and anxious District Police Officer can be held accountable in case a violation is reported.

Earlier within the day right now it was reported that Regulation Minister of Punjab, Rana Sanaullah stated that the Authorities of Punjab couldn’t allow a ‘throat-cutting kite flying pageant’.
The pageant was banned in Punjab in 2007 owing to deaths attributable to sharply polished threads used to fly kites.
