2 NJ Police Officers Hit by Automobile


Two Cliffside Park particular law enforcement officials had been struck Saturday by a compact utility car, leaving one with a severe  head damage, authorities mentioned.

The officers, each 22, had been on foot patrol and crossing and intersection at Walker and John streets when hit by a Honda CRV operated by a lady driver. The identities of the officers and driver had been unavailable.

Each officers had been transported to the Hackensack College Medical Heart.

One officer was listed in severe situation and appeared to have a big head damage, authorities mentioned. The opposite was listed in severe, however steady, situation.

The driving force of the car was being questioned by investigators, who didn’t present additional particulars.

Particular law enforcement officials usually work part-time and are usually not allowed to hold weapons.
