Karachi, Pakistan– The U.S. Company for Worldwide Growth (USAID) and Sindh Schooling and Literacy Division signed memorandums of understanding (MoU) with Engro Company to enhance schooling in Sindh.
“The Sindh authorities and our company companions have proven nice management in implementing U.S.-funded schooling tasks,” stated U.S. Consul Common Brian Heath. “The collaboration will go a good distance towards making schooling extra accessible to youngsters in Sindh.”
USAID Pakistan helps the Sindh Schooling and Literacy Division implement the USAID Sindh Primary Schooling Program (SBEP). This contains developing 120 massive public faculties in seven districts of the province, and 5 cities in Karachi. Underneath the tripartite settlement, Engro below its “I’m the Change” initiative will assist generate funding for SBEP faculties.

Sindh Schooling Secretary Fazlullah Pechuho, USAID Mission Director John Groarke, and Engro’s senior Vice President Ruhail Muhammad signed the MoU. Additionally current have been U.S. Consul Common Brian Heath and USAID Senior Coverage Advisor and Program Supervisor for Sindh Primary Schooling Program Randy Hatfield.
